Save as a pipe delimited text file

I have a csv file which I have opened in Excel 2008 on my mac.
How exercise I export it every bit a pipe delimited text file.

I can only run into an option to salvage it as a tab delimited text file.

If I cant salvage as a pipe delimited text file,
Is there a manner to convert from a tab delimited text file to a pipe delimited text file?

Using Excel for Mac
But mostly use Google Sheets

Yous could always open the tab delimited file in a text editor (word, wordpad, notepad), replace all tabs with pipes, and relieve as txt?

maybe if you save as tab delimited
open with word
detect/replace ^t with pipe character

You could always open the tab delimited file in a text editor (word, wordpad, notepad), replace all tabs with pipes, and save as txt?

maybe if yous salvage as tab delimited
open up with word
discover/supplant ^t with pipage character

Tried these ii just did non work.
Anyhow, I had to do a windows hack with regional settings and then it worked.
